Basic Care & Maintenance Tips
 
BUILT-IN HOB
 
Maintenance
• Always clean the glass, steel or enamel parts with suitable non-abrasive or corrosive products. Avoid using Chlorine base
   products (Bleach etc.)
• Avoid leaving acid or alkaline substances on the working areas (eg., vinegar, salt, lemon, juice, etc.)
• The burner caps (mobile parts of the burners) must be washed frequently with boiling water and detergent, taking care to
   remove every possible encrustation.
* Important: Always make sure that the gas is off before carrying out any cleaning operation.

Warnings
• Comply with the following instructions before remounting the parts,
• Check that the burner head and caps are not clogged by foreign bodies. (This may cause back fire)
• Check that the burner caps are correctly positioned on the burner heads. They must be sitting firmly.

 
 
COOKER HOOD
 

Maintenance
• Thorough servicing guarantees correct and long lasting operation.
• Pay special attention to the grease filters: the grease filters must be cleaned approximately once every 30 hours of operation.
• Any fat deposits should be removed from the appliance periodically depending on the amount of use (at least every 2
   months).
• Avoid using abrasive or corrosive products to clean the surfaces.
• It is advisable to change the carbon filters depending on the amount of use.

Warnings
• The Distance between the hob and the lower part of the hood must be at least 65cm.

 
 
BUILT-IN OVEN
 
Maintenance
• Always clean the interior of the oven after each usage.
• The oven accessories can be removed and be washed in the sink.
• The exterior can be cleaned using a soft wet cloth or sponge. To prevent scratches, never use abrasive substances or non
   neutral detergent.
 
 
REFRIGERATOR
 

Maintenance
• Clean the external door with a cloth regularly, do not wash directly with water.
• Do not use toluene, brushes and chemical rags as they may be harmful to the paint and elements.
• Clean the back and side walls of the refrigerator to keep out rats and cockroaches.
• Clean the evaporation pan which is located at the bottom once or twice a month to remove odour.

Warnings
• Unplug first when exchanging the bulb and/or cleaning the refrigerator
• Keep the refrigerator properly grounded to prevent hazardous power leakage
• Do not wash the refrigerator with running water as this may cause rusting and damage the electrical elements of the
   refrigerator.
• Do not place glass bottles in the freezer as they will expand and explode.
• After removing the plug, wait 7 minutes before plugging it again to prevent an excessive load on the compressor that may
   jeopardize the service life of the refrigerator.
• Do not touch the hot parts on the back of the refrigerator with bare hands. (The compressor may be as hot as 80 degrees or
   more and the radiator remains between 40 ~ 50 degrees)
• Keep the refrigerator vertical when moving when moving to avoid damaging the compressor.

 
 
TOP LOADING WASHING MACHINE
 
Maintenance
• For the exterior, wipe up detergent, bleach, and other spills with a soft, damp cloth or sponge as they occur. Wipe the outside
   occasionally to keep it looking like a new one.
• Clean the interior with 250ml of chlorine bleach mixed with 500ml of detergent. Run washer through a complete cycle. Repeat
   the process if necessary.
• Do not put sharp or metal object in your washer, they can damage the finish.
• Wash the lint filter regularly.
 
 
FRONT LOADING WASHER
 

Maintenance
• Clean the soap powder container regularly.
• Clean the pump filter periodically.

Warnings
• Do not remove or insert the plug in the socket with wet hands.
• Do not use extension lead.
• Do not expose the machine to atmospheric agents.
• The machine cannot be opened until three minutes after the cycle has finished or the machine has been switched off.
• For maintenance work, disconnect the machine from the power supply.
